BLOOMS is an iOS and web app that takes over the record-keeping: generative AI responds to the notes and photos a user leaves, suggests keywords to look things up, and summarises a stretch of entries to bring to an appointment.
The award name points at where the weight likely sat: Firebase is used broadly here — authentication, Functions, Firestore, Storage and Hosting — and that breadth let a solo builder ship both an iOS app and a web version in a hackathon window. The subject matter is strong too. Pregnancy symptoms are hard to put into words and easy to forget by the next appointment, and the loop of writing, getting a response, and later seeing it summarised gives a reason to keep logging.
